This sentence sums up how we see ourselves. We are artistic craftsmen, known in ancient times as “Artifex“, for whom a project constitutes a complete process, commencing with a draft plan and culminating in a finished construction.
We are a young and modern wood-construction company, specialising for the last thirteen years in building houses by hand from natural timber. We have developed several innovative enhancements to traditional log-home constructions, making us the only supplier in Germany able to combine this method of construction with modern, design-oriented elements – e.g. flat-trimmed timber.
Artifex GmbH is known internationally for its great expertise in log-home construction; it has been a member of the International Logbuilders Association for more than 12 years.
